You can make one hell of a lot of this kind of vibration setup for the $16.00 wrist jel pad. The tiles are about $3.00 to $6.00 a piece. I mean possibly a hundred or more. The gel is a booger to cut but it can be done and you have plenty with which to experiment. Compare that to Vibrosorbs for $60.00 a set.The 12" X 12" X 1/4' tiles come in many colors and they don't look at all bad. I found that a 1/4" or less and 1 or 2 inches square of gel works best. When you place your component on the tile it will compress a little leaving less than a 1/4" between the tiles. All you see is a couple of tiles under your component.
It should be aesthetically pleasing to a spouse. Not being married I can't say for sure.
