If CD players actually have buffers, which they probably don't, the errors that occur during the laser reading process would be stored in the buffer, no? So what good would would the buffer be in solving the problems I'm referring to? Scattered laser light, external vibration, internal vibration and fluttering of the CD. Those errors occur instantaneously as the pits and lands are read. So they would be stored in the buffer.
