Davey, my friend brought over one of the Acme Audio Labs fuses to my home and directionality was DEFINITELY a factor! So if anyone purchases an Acme fuse I highly suggest trying it both ways. Of course, like most things in audio your results might be different than mine but I was quite surprised with how much better the fuse sounded one way vs the other in my amp...
