Indeed, some of them could be real, but we have no way to be certain short of electrical analysis and/or listening. It's an odd situation, and it is too bad that we can't do much about it (and Texas Instruments doesn't seem interested in helping). I only bought the parts I did because I felt stuck - I couldn't find any through normal distribution channels. Now it looks as though I will have to do a better job of projecting my future needs and getting them from authorized distributors regardless of the stock situation.
