One potential problem ..

but you would hear it if it was affecting you.

The very short charging pulses from the rectifiers to the capacitors are now flowing through a piece of wire in free air.

There is potential for this to be radiated into low level areas of your amp and result in 100/120Hz buzz/hum.

If you can't hear it you ain't got it!
