Hi Fred,My "old pattern"? I thought I'd extended a hand of understanding Fred. Please be clear it is not me that penned that post you are referring to. Tom's first paragraph was supportive of my efforts with Hip Joints. I don't control his or anyone else's words as you well know, no matter what my feelings are.
I responded to his statement of belief that I am not in, nor am I planning, a business with Hip Joints and that I should continue to share the idea. He know's I'm not "seeding". He was also kind in his statement that I not allow anyone to silence me, which I told him is not the case.
Are you now impugning me for not coming to your defense? You say I've "posted another attack against" you. (I will leave it for this community to determine just where I have attacked you.) When I talked about folks hiding behind monikers, how could that have possibly referred to you when you have posted your full name in every post? (I wasn't referring to you.)
For the record and for all to see: I do not believe you have any financial interest in this issue whatsoever. I do believe you are motivated by nothing other than a sincere desire for ethical behavior, as am I. I do not believe any holder of a patent related to this topic has stolen anything from anyone.
I would ask you to please take your time and re-read MY post with MY words and MY feelings. (I don't say this with any sarcasm in the least. On the contrary, I'm seeking an understanding and wish you would consider what I said.) I told you I have considered your position and have radically altered mine as a direct result. Are you still seeing me as a villain?
So where do we stand? Are you retracting your gracious apology? Are my actions insufficient to allay your suspicions?
(By the way, I didn't miss your point. I just want to leave no possible doubts about my intentions. If there is the even remotest possibility my sharing Hip Joints specs invades territory granted by a patent to someone else, I believe the sharing should stop. And so it will stop. Period.) In other words I'm saying the arguments you presented (when heard from others in the form of a concern as opposed to a personal attack) convinced me you are correct. Do you require further clarification?
As to sharing Hip Joints specs (no group buy), I've responded to Mr. Walker's same question in this very thread. If you are interested, please see that post and let me know how you feel. As per what I said above, if the consensus is the idea belongs to someone else, sharing the specs is history.
Happy Listening!
Barry
