Is Steve Deckert's or Doc Bottlehead's the better amp?

Hi Everyone!

Ok. It seems we have a real "power" struggle here (pun intended). Seriously folks, I WANT ONE OF THEIR GREAT AMPS! I can't afford both, so how do I know if the Zen or the ParaSex is superior? It's unlikely I will have the opportunity to compare them side by side (sure wish I could). Has anyone seriously auditioned both amps? I don't believe the "difference" in either "power rating" or "effective" power at this level would have a demonstrable effect with any of the speakers that would likely be used with either of these amps. SO, ... WHICH AMP IS BETTER? Any comments from DOC and Steve are greatly appreciated; I admire both of you gentlemen for providing the level of performance achieved for relatively low cost.

BTW, I currently am stuck in an apartment; I am using KEF 10's (91 db) and Van Alstine modified Rotel 855 Cd Player with Jolida 302A amp in tride mode. Is replacing the Jolida an improvement or not? Your opinion, please!

My next problem is that I also want a pait of Magnepan MMG's and neither amp is compatible ... but, that's another story!!!
