1. DC bias is not lost - current still flows through the cathode resistor.
2.Any DC signal flowing thogh "Cathode feedback" winding, the grounded center taped secondary, has a net magnetic effect of 0, and the ac current (signal), is 180 degrees out of phase as in any PP circut which gives the negative feedback.The uses of a ct secondary as cathode feedback is a demonstrated technique, my question involved extending it to a self bias output stage.
