Hi -Any experience among the group using triode-tied EL34 as opposed to a triode-tied 6550 or 'real triodes'?
So far I've only built triode amps using the 2A3 (SE) and 6BX7 (PP)
Steve Bench seems to like the E34L in triode push-pull with no loop negative feedback driven by a cathode-coupled phase inverter with CCS 'tail'
thanks
Freddy
