Just curious. Why didn't you build an EL34 or KT-77 clone of the JTM-45? Does the amp have a classic Bluesbreaker sound? That would be very nice!
You using British made Celestion speakers?
Thanks, for posting this! Will need to look into those tubes. As like you, I've found many newly made 6L6GC a little disappointing. Tone-wise.
