RE: NOS 6189 and 12AT7 choices

You are correct in your statement.
It is not, that I don't like some aspects of my preamp sound (it is Shindo Vosne Romanee).
My phono section tubes have become microphonic in one chanel, so I decided, it's a good time to replace them, and if better alternatives to the stock tubes are available, I'm open to a trial.
The sound now is very dynamic, balanced and organic, and I'm not looking to change any specific aspect of it.
I'd like to magnify the existing qualities, if possible.
The only concern about the stock tubes, I have, is, I'd like the phono section to be somewhat quieter- I don't know, if the minimal noise I hear is due to the tubes, or it's just an inherent design flaw.
