Even the non-windmill getter Raytheon 5751 are great tubes. These and the Raytheon 12AX7A are simply awesome tubes. Esp in critical positions, like input.

You what is a not bad tube, esp for the price? The 1970-80's mil spec Sylvania 5751. Ok, not the tone of the 1950's triple mica Sylvania, RCA, or GE. But, nice and quiet tubes. Good life and relatively cheap (still).
