HAH...many of these internet dealers around here are buying tubes off Ebay also! We have a customer that has one of the higher priced web-site dealer inventories that has purchased many tubes from us off of Ebay. Of course the name is different, but well, the address is surely the same! There are a multitude of spectacular offerings available off Ebay, you have to look and you have to take some risks. But Tubemonger mentioned a recent purchase of E88CC that were no good. Do people think that NOS Tubes fall off of trees into the hands of tube dealers??? The company I work for travels the entire country searching for NOS tubes and components, but we have made our fair share of very excellent buys from Ebay. Here's a hint...2 Western Electric 300b's NOS/NIB (by all appearances) were sold on Ebay at nearly a record price very recently. Those tubes came out of box of mixed goodies purchased "buy it now" for $79 on Ebay. YOU ARE THE ROCK!
