Scott 233 tube recomendations

Well I've had my Scott 233 amp for about 2 years now I think and have only rarely been able to put it to use. In fact the only time this last year I used it was a a demo system for our NW gatherings.

I want that to change this coming winter when the HUGE project list is finally going to get around to building the display rack that my tube system needs:

Scott 233 amp

Scott 312 tuner

Akai M8 R2R

Pro-Ject 1.2 TT modified to look like a Thorens TD-121 table

And the other day my good friend Modge (steve) from foggy ole England sent me a WONDERFUL NOS Military issue Mullard made GZ-34 CV-1377 rectifier tube.

SO I got to thinking I might continue the new tube thing and look for some replacements.

The Amp uses the following tubes:

(4) 12AX7
(2) 6U8
(4) 7591 outputs
(1) 5AR4 rectifier

The 7591A's are a mixed quad of 2 GE's and 2 Scotts (one with a damaged plastic base

the 12AX7's are all GE's All with their tin shields in place.

And the 6U8's are RCA's

I most likely can't afford any NOS Mullards or other such high end tubes. I would like to at least upgrade the outputs to a nice Quad of matching tubes.

I figure if work picks up a little this summer I can buy up the tubes and then this winter when time permits looking at some of the old caps and do a minor refresh on this great sounding old gal.

So guys what you suggest for a Guy on a budget?
