For example, just looking at German E88CC manufactured NOS or UOS E88CC tubes:
Munich Siemens manufactured tubes sound different to Ulm Telefunken manufactured tubes. Likewise, Stuttgart Lorenz manufactured tubes sound completely different to the Hamburg Valvo manufactured variants.
The story continues on when comparing Amperex Hicksville, NY, USA made tubes to Eindhoven Holland and Heerlen Holland made tubes. The list goes on with many others, including the UK, Russian, Hungarian, Czechoslovakian and Yugoslavian 6922/E88CC/6N23 series of tubes.
Only when trying an array of these tubes, in your system, will you be satisfied with the outcome that ultimately pleases you.
