Notice What do tube tests mean? posted on March 9th. Also bother to read the tube tester articles located in the Asylum FAQ. Basically, unless YOU are intimately familiar with the tester in question, such tests are of no consequence. Testers were orignally intended for quickly discovering questionable tubes in a couple-dozen tube TV or radio set during a house call or bench check or the same in a military installation, they were never intended for critical Hi-Fi evaluation. More important is whether your seller accepts returns for DOA.
