*Can't you see in your own statement what the situation is?*
??
*What I told you is this:*
*Right now we are limiting sales on certain types. The super rare
6922/7308, and 6SN7 are limited.*What you told me was EXACTLY what I quoted in my post as taken directly from your e-mail reply:
"Right now we are not shipping 6SN7 tubes except into products bought here. This only applies to 6SN7 and 6922 types."*You asked for the three most in demand brands.*
I think you have me confused with someone else. My email in its entirety is as follows:
"> Subject: 6SN7 suggestions, availabillity, and pricing.

> I would like to replace the 6SN7 driver tubes in my
> GTA SE40 with something better ( now using Sovtek ).
> I wondered what you would suggest, have available, and
> what the price would be with postage?*When a guy calls and wants 32 6SN7's for his four BAT VK-60's or Atmasphere's you can see how this puts pressure on our stocks.*
I don't know who you are confusing me with but I wanted 2 measly tubes for my GTA SE40...and maybe a 6922 for my preamp.
*My first duty is to local customers, or perhaps customers in other parts of the U.S. that have bought or may buy gear from us. I can easily sell every 7308 I have in stock today to dealers overseas.*I AM a customer in another part of the US...as for buying gear from you in the future as of now it's questionable.
*We sell 29 different amps and preamps that use 6922 or 6SN7 here. I owe those customers. I'm sorry we can't help everyone, but please don't blame me for it.*I'm not blaming you for ANYTHING! Don't blame me for advising Mike D to go elswhere when you made it clear in your email to me that you don't sell 6922's. I certainly don't have any hard feelings.
*I don't sell used Amperex 6922 for $60*According to your email reply YOU DON'T SELL ANY 6922s!
*This of course is with all due respect to Tubeworld and no doubt they do a fine job.*
They do
*Ned at Triode had a limit on 6922's when he had them...and nobody complained.*
No complaints here*We've imported a ton of these tubes to U.S. customers that may have gone elsewhere. We do the best we can. But it has to run out sometime, guys. Don't get pissed at me. We have ten of thousands of 12AX7, 12AT7, and 12AU7. If more manufacturers would use those we would be in good shape.*
Hey, I'm NOT pissed, honest. I just was interested in buying some tubes and you made it crystal clear that you would not sell them to me by your reply which I quoted above unchanged and complete. No "thanks for asking and have a nice day", no "check back in the future" and most certainly no free advice. Are you saying you DO sell Amperex 6922s now and Mike D should give you a call?
I'm sorry if I offended you with my post. Also, I'm sure you're a nice guy and it's great doing business with you as proven by the many positive posts and recommendations I've seen by others on this forum concerning Upscale Audio.
I was merely trying to make the point that by your own words you don't sell 6922's to the general public, and that
Tubeworld ( in my opinion ) is a great source for tubes.
