A Question about amps....
SS amps 'report' power as "x" watts @ 8 ohms, and "2x" @ 4ohms (usually close to double,but always more than 'x')Tube amps seem to report "x" watts w/ 4,8, & 16 ohm taps
A laymans explaination of "why" the difference would be appreciated and educate me (feed the addiction)
Current system is: Rotel 951cd->CJpv10->CJ SA250 -> Dynaudio Aries
Speakers are 89db @ 4 ohmsthanks
