Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ

RE: knock it off!

"If you have customers to advise, it seems to me you'd want to make product comparisons yourself first, instead of making excuses for not doing so."

You are beyond comprehension. "Making excuses"... Well if it "seems to you" that passing the product on to people who have already paid for it and waited weeks for it is the wrong thing to do then I'm happy to be wrong. I also respect my customers opinions, and in turn they are willing to share them with me knowing full well I'll be able to pass them on to others. You see, people have different ears, different gear, different rooms, etc. Getting feedback from a wide variety of listeners who've listened in a wide variety of rooms on a wide variety of systems is the best way to learn about how the tube works in the real world.

Let me offer you some advice - using your own line of reasoning, and mostly your own words:

If you intend to post about the quality of the reissue tube, it seems to me you'd want to make product comparisons yourself first, instead of making excuses for not doing so.

YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD THE TUBE! No amount of your obfuscation and endless bloviation will cover the fact that you have never heard the tube. Don't tell us how you are going to hear it some day in the future - the fact remains YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD THE TUBE!

This is my last post, so you can jump in and have the last word. I'm sure you'll do yourself proud.
