Whether or not the NOS tubes is a 6DJ8, 6922, or 7308 will not tell the story on what will last.Tele 6DJ8 hold up. The Tele 6922/E88CC is more microphonic statistically.
Tungsram 6922 work well.
Amperex 7308 are OK...but will not last as long. The french and holland made may be slightly longer lived in the M-3A. In other products they seem to be similar.
Don't even bother using US made Amperex 6922 in that unit. You will toast them. The Holland 6DJ8 may do slightly better...but buying them used means they may have been in a scope and when you put them in that pre-amp they will most likely be noisy.
The Russian tubes work well. May be the best bet.
