The first tubes I replaced were the stock 12AX7s that came with the Jolida 302B amp. I got a pair of Amperex Bugle Boys, and they did make a huge difference in detail, sound stage, and spacial relationships. I liked the results so much that I replaced the Chinese 12AX7s in my Jolida CDP with a pair of Bugle Boys as well. I also just ordered some Bugle Boys to replace the stock 12AT7s that came with the amp.By the way, the replacement SEDs arrived today, and with only 3 hours on them, they already sound worlds better than the EH EL34s, IMHO.
