Plate resistors?

68.39.161.38

I'm not on par with the others on this posting but I remembered this. If the plate resistors are weak don't they start doing thing like blowing tubes and then trannies. I did some work on my Dynaco and made a wiring mistake. It too was blowing driver tubes like popcorn. Once the wiring problem was fixed I haven't had a problem in 4 years. BTW most of the tubes I'm using are almost as old as I am. And I must agree with the above posting. SS gear is nice but when it goes HHHAAA try fixing it!!! You'll get a lot of this "gee that transistor is extinct and there aint nnnnnooooooo replacing it, but let's try this one anyway."

(but don't look at my SS stuff I like to play with-ssshhhhh)
