Tried some sylania's in my Wright phono pre and bought herbie halo's for them. Bad move they were incredibly microphonic. Put the Zenith's back in one side and left sylania's in the other side. I can't tell much of a difference. Did the Mullard 12AU7 test this weekend against RCA cleartops. I think the Mullards were slightly better perhaps a bit fuller sound, but not much. Keep me posted about what you find. I replaced my 6X4 but I need to try one of the Tungsols sounds like.
