Telefunken diamond is good: Mullard I do not know. Ei is also suprisingly good, although I have to replace every six months. I haven't tried the new extra special fine tested gold pin plated woopdedo 'EI Elites', but I would like too. perhaps they will last I don't know ; I do know the price is right.I have used the 12AT7 in the driver and input configuration, and like it. It must be run at about 8mA minimum in my humble opinion however.
