My Fi X has Magnaquest DS02s, holco resisters, Silver signal wiring, cerafine 47/47 500 caps and 10H filter chokes. I run mine X with the Avantegard Accoustic Duos. Its a very nice combination. I can't compare contrast with other SETs as I have little experience with these amps. I can tell you that I am convinced that if "live" sound is a priority then SET/horns are the way to go. I am considering trying the Gaincard amp just to find out how a SS amp would match up with my Duos.Scott W
