Can the JAN Philips. That's what came with my Atma-Sphere M60s and IMO they are marginally better at best compared to the Sovteks. Yuk!Have not tried the Mullards, I agree with Jack, you can do better. I have been using RCA VT-231s the last couple of weeks. Nice! Sweet and smooth, a real find. Just received some Sylvania VT-231 tall bottles. REALLY looking forward to compare/contrast with the RCAs.
Jack, if you read this, have you seen any of the CBS 5692 brown bases around of late? I've seen a few of the RCA red base, but I won't pay those prices.
