Bruce:I appreciate the costume-themed criticism (never occurred to me) and that DOES make it an inferior effort.
Yet, aside from that, the majority of the music is quite maturely-done, maybe on a level with Sgt. Peppers (a valid and logical comparison for obvious reasons and close in time, too). If you don't find 'Pepper' the landmark album that I (and others) do - and I'm not saying you don't or should necessarily -, then it's only logical that you wouldn't rate 'MMT' highly.
I guess I'll take this opportunity to add that you (and/or others) were completely incorrect regarding my comment on the 'Critics' board in response to a Sue Kraft, critic/reviewer of TAS. It was meant jokingly ONLY. I meant "you" in the editorial sense. She did take it personally, obviously. That, however, does not mean I intended it that way (often in life one gets accidentally offended when the sender of the communication is unaware). I was tempted to write an apology (or an explanation, really) to her via the A.A. moniker but I thought better of it and let it go.
I might add it seems awfully queer why she would have taken the remark of mine, personally; I don't even KNOW her!! Why would she believe an anonymous poster on A.A. would be personal with her! It just doesn't make any sense to me.
