They do say every cloud has a silver lining and bankruptcy sales are usually very good for those with cash to spare.
I have been thinking about the Beatles lately and played Sgt. Pepper last week.
I was amazed by how different it sounded to how I remembered it. Much rockier and some fabulous bass lines.
It seems much more basic and perhaps that's a reflection of having improved the resolution of the system so I can hear what might be basic tracks and then overdubs as separate things now.
I may put it on now as I have to clean the house before a photoshoot on Friday and have put this morning aside for windows...
