My wife likes the music I listen to but I wouldn't call it a passion of hers. Neither my wife or I like silence. Years ago when we first started dating she used to turn on the TV when she came home from work. She didn't watch it but the sound helped her feel less alone. Now, she doesn't turn on the TV anymore, she asks me to turn on the stereo if I haven't already done so. I'll catch her dancing in another room if she thinks I'm not looking or sometimes she'll even sit down in the sweet spot to do nothing but listen.She seems to enjoy listening to whatever I play and, best of all, she never questions me when I bring in more records or CDs. She just wants to hear them. I guess I am lucky!
