I'd suggest Vanguard's "Amadeus" line, also "Decca Legends" from the late 50's on up, also "Philips 50". All very fine sounding analog reissues IMO.Newer digital recordings? I'd suggest Harmonia Mundi. I like Herreweghe here, especially. Beethoven's 9th, very nice.
