Not me Mike. Just ask my kid, I ain't never been hip a day in my life. I believe it was Tower Of Power that asked the very profound question... What is hip? Do you know Mike? I'll be damned if I do. I look at people dressed up in trendsetting clothes while I still wear polyester doubleknits, are they hipper? I see someone digging some jazz, noddin' his head to something that to me, sounds like a goat bleating, is he hipper? A successful businessman is whisked away in his limo to a waiting Leer jet while I try to decide if I wanna go to bartenders or diesel mechanics school, (guaranteed job placement upon graduation) is he hipper? Someone is snorting cocaine as I think it's more fun to inhale helium and talk funny, is he hipper? You like what's her name, are you hip? What the hell is hip Mike? Can I buy or rent it? Do I need to mug someone who's got it? Will my pharmacy stock it? Tell me please, I'm in dire need of a dose of hipness.


Now I don't know if you're aware of this Mike, so to save you any future embarrassment I'll let you know... We never do the "what's her name" thing until the first of every month, to bring her up at any other time is considered terribly gauche. To be perfectly frank with you Mike, it's quite beneath us. Ignorance should never be an excuse for the social faux pas you committed, but I believe the members are in a forgiving mood. You do know the correct forks to use during dinner don't you? Ha ha ha ha, of course you do you silly man, just a little etiquette humor.
