...or the surrounding area.I have an lp of organ music from "The Castle", meaning the Hammond (Museum) Castle in Cloucester, MA. Berj Zamkochian, organist. Put out by the Gregorian Institute of America. At the time anyway, the largest privately-owned pipe organ in the world was there.
What I am wondering is, is the Castle/Museum open to the public? I was in that area about 15 years ago, and visited some of the little cottages along the coast from Conn. to Mass. and judging by the pictures on the back cover, it looks very familiar. I have no pictures of my own, but I think I may have been in the great hall, and I do remember something of a cliff, or steep drop to the ocean.
Could it be I was in fact there on vacation, or perhaps I am a long lost nephew of John Hays Hammond, Jr. and these are recollections from my early childhood?
Hope Uncle John remembered to put me in the will.
Neil
