It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Yes, that's my Glider. Or was! It is a great cart, but didn't pump enough juice for my meager ol Mod 3a.

I got the Dynavector 20x. I'd never even heard of the one you bought until later - would have easily made up the difference to the XX-1 as it was more my intended range. But I really like my Dyna. Although the Glider had noticeably better resolution compared to the cold-out-of-the-box Dyna, the Dyna is more punchy and has great extension. Maybe it's just a bit etchy on the cymbals and sibilants. Maybe it's improving now with 30hrs, maybe I'm forgetting what the Glider sounded like. Anyway, I'm enjoying everything I listen to, and I don't have to crank it up to where I get too much tube noise from those *special* NOS tubes in my phono stage. It's a great cart for the price, and I got a 20% trade in on an old 10x3 broken shell from 1984. I'm glad I saved it in the broken cart museum for 17 yrs.

What about that Earl Wild Lizst Piano Extravaganza lp? A bit over the top for your Tchaik set? I really am incorrigible on that slammy piano stuff. Just today I found 4 or 5 more Richters and a couple of Goulds and Van Cliburns at the Thrifts, along with about 10 kilos of other misc. Toscaninis, Ormanydys..., lots of common fare but in great shape (I have a few comp days for shopping!!).
