Home Music Lane

It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Yes the Chandos one.

I did not keep the CD but one Elgar piece that ended on a drawn-out double stop (but not a hugely difficult one) was embarrassingly uneven in terms of lack of consistent equal pressure on both strings--one voice kept moving in or out.

It could have been "Sospiri" or ...

OK, I looked it up, and some SOUL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS @ Arkivmusic.com chose that bad double and NOTHING ELSE as the soundbyte for the "Sospiri" track. So there is a bit of dead air in the byte.

So, I guess I am not alone.

Criminy, if I could have made my recording debut in Elgar's VERY EASY MELODIOUS EXERCISES IN THE FIRST POSITION, I would have been tickled pink!!!

ATB,

JM
