Don't know who released the 4 CD boxed set but I do know that the compilation CD, Every Breath You Take was done by A&M records in 1994. It was digitaly remastered and since I don't have any vinyl, I can't vouch for how they sound but I wonder if the original masters were bright to begin with?FWIW, this was digital remastered from the original analogue tapes.
