If you could have an extended conversation with any musician,
living or dead, which one(s) would you choose and why. Saying
that you would choose a living one is an invalid answer.
I would choose Clark Terry (jazz trumpeter) and Milt Hinton
(jazz bassist) because they are both intelligent, funny,
thoughtful, have seen and participated in a fair portion
of the history of jazz. They have also *made* a lot of
that history.
