I have around 6 to 7 versions of these symphonies and was reticent about adding another. But the rave reviews and "Disc of the Year" 2009 award to this Linn SACD (CDK308) persuaded me to buy. And I'm so glad I did. The audio is superb as is the artistry and will play well on either SACD or the CD layer.I recently played it to a musical appreciation friend of mine who has a similarly large collection and he was also blown away and promptly purchased it.

What can be more subjective than music? It reflects our personal tastes and preferences.
