After Conan was "adopted" by the Mongol, this interchange took place, with the father addressing his natural son.
Father: Son, what is best in life?
Son: The open steppe, a fleet horse, falcons on your wrist, to feel the wind in your face.
Father: WRONG! Conan, what is best in life?
Conan: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women.
