If not, it doesn't get any more evocative for me than Alain Romans: Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot never fails.
And Jim Jarmusch knows how to pick music - Neil Young's stuff on Dead Man works mightily.
Morricone's partnership with Leone wasn't too shabby, either.
