I wouldn't worry too much: those tapes indeed are more than fine for the period and for the occasion. Which, if it really is the case that the Doremi issues are compromised even in comparison with other remasters published of the same tapes, makes me wonder whether indeed they get inferior generation copies of the master tapes, or whether they can't work on the original tapes (or direct copies thereof) but instead have to settle with a digital copy ripped off from elsewhere.

My own first-hand experience of their issues, though, is limited to some quick in-store listening with those lousy setups and ten other customers pushing my back.
