I guess I haven''t grasped your premise. Who ever thinks of Stravinski as a pianist, thereby apparently disqualifying him as an acceptable entrant into your pantheon of transcendant musicians?And, whether or not some of the other names mentioned truly merit consideration, at least I can see why they came up. I still have absolutely no idea how Roy Buchanan fits into this discussion at all.
