Tesla, with all due respect, does anyone really think John Tesh is categorized as jazz? I think of him more as New Age.To me the "worst jazz" is jazz I don't like.
In the John Tesh category, I nominate Kenny G. I think it best to also categorize Kenny as easy listening (with "easy" being a relative term).
My one pet peeve is our local "smooth jazz" station playing mostly R&B (WAY too much Luther, Sade, Anita Baker and the like). I have nothing against good R&B and love my funk (like TOP), but let's not call it "jazz."
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and smells like a duck . . .
