I could not disagree more..... I think "decent stereo" in the mainstream may have already become extinct, to where the upcoming generation is on the verge of losing the understanding of what "high fidelity" sound reproduction is all about........ (I've already encountered such people.)
"Nothing wrong with digital done right."
Now that I agree with....... The problem is digital done right (to my ears) is so rare, only realized by a select few playback sources.
