Hi Chris,You picked up my point correctly - I am not saying not to upgrade your transport. It can't hurt, and in most cases can help, but not as much as it would for other DACs on the market. The dAck! is in the extreme value market segment and in addition, I am not in the transport business (maybe someday :) so I want to recommend what's best for my customers. That means to not spend $5K on a transport if not really necessary.
Reclocking certainly doesn't make things better in all situations but in many configurations it can work wonders. With the dAck! circuit....I won't say more...Shhh. :)
