.....but you might be right....we'll never know. my comments go for the Audio Note......i believe the AN dacs would sound better if they had a great quality, integrated transport.....unless that was tried neither of us would really know the answer.you had me going on the Saturday nite excitment until you mentioned "The Fast and The Furious".....what a terrible movie....a year ago my son and i were at a CART race and had an evening to kill....he suggested that we go see that movie......i knew i would hate it, and i did.....kinda like "Death by bad acting and even worse music".....i know it is about cars....but after watching real raceing.....
so for real "excitment" today i went to a friend's house for some listening to his new Audio Physic Virgo IIIs. a big improvement over his B&W 802 matrix IIs. a little vinyl, sacd, and cd.
then went vinyl-hunting and scored....40 or so "fresh" Lps at a Seattle record store....in a box in the corner not priced yet....real clean, perfect jackets, so far sound great.
