Yep. The specific combination of interconnects and power cord is often overlooked. The two work in tandem and their synergy (or lack of) determines how the component will sound. Some combinations sound pretty funky. I actually think this is one of the most fun aspects of cable swapping and a good reason to aquire a collection of cables with various sonic signatures to have available. It's sweet to find a dynamic duo :-)
