I was tempted until I saw the price. I've been using Canare star quad for so long now that I'm tempted to try something else. I've upgraded my ICs and power cable with VH diy cables as you have and have been very impressed with the improvements, but neither cost anywhere near as much as your speaker cables did.

First though I need to upgrade the amp end terminals. It still has the ST-70 screw terminals, which don't accommodate a thick cable very well. I upgraded the circuitry of the amp but never did the outside interfaces. The RCA jacks were newer gold plated ones, but the power was a cheap lamp cord and speaker connections were original when I got this amp. I have enough silver wire left to go from the RCA jacks to the driver board input, maybe I should do that.
