interesting to note that a former 'budget' line of cable company (not maker) who was previously lauded for pricing their product not at an insane level, has now released a 'signature' line where the price for an interconnect ranges from an 'affordable' $459 to a heavenly $1600 for a 3 ft pair of interconnects!
the reason? 'ultra-pure', 'hyper-pure', 99.999999% pure conductors!! and what's surrounding the cables? nothing! because nothing is the best! doesn't it seem odd these days when the less you get, the more you have to pay for it?
here's a quote from their online product literature: "...we now bring forward a cable that is the closest thing to "no cable." " and they are talking about their top of the line $1600 cable. for that much money, you'd be hope to at least be buying SOME cable!!

so, instead of flying in the face of this insane convention of 'sky's the limit' cable pricing, they have just joined ranks and justified it by complicity.
