When I used a single run of cable with true biwired speakers, I found that connecting the cable to the mid/high terminal gave a cleaner response in the mid/upper frequencies. If the cable was connected to the low first and then jumped to the mid/high, the mid/high frequency range would take on a disjointed/grainy quality and since the ear is more sensitive in these ranges, it is much easier to perceive small sonic anomolies.
It is the jumpers that are the culprit for the sonics differences when using single cables on a biwire speaker and it is even more pronounced on true biwire speakers.
IME, it is better to procure a lesser quality biwire speaker cable than to use a high quality single cable with a jumper...no matter how good the jumper is.
