Re: A Clarification

After posting my comments about the 'rippling' of the surface finish on the Oyaide AC connector blades, I took another quick look at them to make sure I wasn't overstating the issue. After looking very closely at them, I'd say 'rippling' in the plating isn't a very precise description. I'd say it's more of an 'orangepeel' effect, similar to a poor paint job on a car. I'm not sure what effect if any this has on the sound of the connector, so feel free to take my description with a grain of salt.
